IRVING WAXMAN

Irving Waxman, MD, is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine with a conjoint appointment in the Department of Surgery who specializes in endoscopic ultrasound and interventional endoscopy. His interventional gastroenterology work focuses on state-of- the-art endoscopic procedures for esophageal, gastric, lung, pancreatic and rectal tumors, as well as endoluminal resection and endosonography guided therapy. He also has a research portfolio and publications in the same fields with device development as well as involvement in multiple clinical trials.
